In a horrific incident from Maharashtra's Aurangabad, a girl jumped off an auto after being allegedly molested by the driver.
CCTV footage shows the girl escaping from a moving auto with passersby surrounding her. She was hospitalised after sustaining severe head injuries.
The auto driver, as per a Times of India report, passed lewd remarks at the 17-year-old and allegedly asked her if she was interested in having a physical relationship with him.
Soon after the video went viral, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced strict action against the auto driver.
He has been been sent to a two-day police custody, the Times of India report added.
