New Zealand's Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters questioned the evidence provided by Canada to allege a 'potential' link between India and the killing of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

New Zealand is a member of the Five-Eyes intelligence sharing group which includes the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Canada had reportedly shared what it called 'evidence' against India with the Five-Eyes.

In an interview to the Indian Express, Peters said that Canada does not have evidence against India.

'As a trained lawyer, I look okay, so where’s the case? Where’s the evidence? Where’s the finding right here, right now? Well, there isn’t one,' he told the Indian Express
