In a massive crackdown on narcotics, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has destroyed nearly 4,000 kg of seized drugs valued at ₹315 crore across Madhya Pradesh, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

The move comes under the nationwide drug disposal programme launched on the directives of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, as part of the Centre’s zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking, said NCB Assistant Director Ravinder Singh Bisht in a statement.

Breakdown of the Disposal Drive:

🔹 The NCB Bhopal zonal unit destroyed nearly 1,000 kg of narcotics worth over ₹270 crore on Tuesday.
🔹 The NCB Indore zonal unit eliminated around 3,000 kg of seized contraband valued at ₹45 crore.

This large-scale drug disposal underscores the government’s relentless efforts to combat the drug menace and send a strong message against illegal narcotics trade.
