Amaravati, Jul 31 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu successfully wrapped up his four-day visit to Singapore, marking a significant step forward in India-Singapore relations and the state's international outreach.

Naidu emphasized that the trip revitalized the ongoing partnership with the Southeast Asian nation and underscored the substantial investment opportunities available in Andhra Pradesh. He extended an invitation to attend the forthcoming Global Investors Summit, slated for November in Vishakapatnam.

"I engaged in over 27 activities, including discussions with government officials, industry leaders, and the Indian community abroad. It was an invaluable occasion to promote 'Brand Andhra Pradesh'," Naidu mentioned in a post on 'X'.

A statement revealed that the chief minister landed in Hyderabad at 10.30 pm on Wednesday and continued to Vijayawada the same night. Upon his arrival at Gannavaram Airport, he was received by Chief Secretary K Vijayanand, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, ministers, MLAs, and other officials and leaders.

During his visit, Naidu met with Singapore President Tharman and engaged in 27 meetings on diverse topics like investments, Artificial Intelligence (AI), fintech, ports, and urban development, solidifying partnerships with prominent global stakeholders.

Accompanying Naidu were his son Nara Lokesh and other ministers.

IT Minister Nara Lokesh departed Singapore on Thursday morning after participating in 35 events, which included 19 one-on-one meetings, six Government to Government (G2G) sessions, and four site visits.

He addressed the Telugu diaspora on July 27, encouraging Non-Resident Indians to act as ambassadors for 'Brand Andhra'.

Lokesh held discussions with representatives from companies like Google, Microsoft, Airbus, EverVolt, Murata, CapitaLand, and Infineon, focusing on Andhra Pradesh's investment appeal and business-friendly governance.

He pledged full government support, from the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to the execution of projects.

Lokesh highlighted the benefits of establishing industries in Andhra Pradesh, pointing out the state's investor-friendly policies, attractive incentives, and effective ease-of-doing-business reforms.
