Bhopal, Aug 15 – In a statement made on Friday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav applauded the success of Operation Sindoor under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Yadav remarked that India, through this operation, communicated with Pakistan in a way it fully comprehends.
During his address at the state-level event marking the celebration of India's 79th Independence Day, Yadav emphasized that, “Operation Sindoor showcased Bharat’s strength and capabilities to the world. Highlighting India’s economic progress, Yadav mentioned that the past 11 years under PM Modi have been notably eventful, making India the world’s “fastest growing economy.”
He expressed confidence that India's economy, currently ranked fourth, is poised to secure the third position soon.
“The journey towards a ‘Self-reliant India’ or ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and a developed India is achievable only through a commitment to swadeshi — the use of indigenous resources and products," he stated.
Yadav underscored the importance of recognizing the nation’s inherent strengths and capabilities.
“I am proud to announce that Madhya Pradesh is playing a vital role in realizing the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and a developed India,” he noted.
The chief minister highlighted that by 2024-25, the state's per capita income is expected to rise to Rs 1.52 lakh annually, up from Rs 1.39 lakh.
He also discussed initiatives to bolster employment, revealing plans to recruit one lakh individuals in various government departments, along with the aim to hire approximately 2.5 lakh unemployed youth over the next five years.
Yadav remarked on the rapid expansion of infrastructure to enhance air connectivity in Madhya Pradesh and noted the significant increase in irrigated areas.
