Thane, Aug 11 (PTI): In an unfortunate incident, a motorbike collision with a bus left two people injured in Thane city on Monday morning, as per local police sources. A bus traveling from Gandhinagar, Gujarat to Bhiwandi in Thane barreled into a motorcycle at the Nagla Bunder signal on Ghodbunder Road around 7 am. The collision led to a 28-year-old woman, who was riding pillion, suffering from head injuries. The man piloting the motorbike, aged 24, also sustained injuries. However, medical authorities at the hospital have confirmed that both individuals, residents of Kandivali, Mumbai, are in stable condition. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Pankaj Shirsat shared this information, shedding light on how the 40-year-old driver hailing from Gandhinagar has been detained, with investigations underway to determine the causes and responsibility for the accident. Fortunately, the bus, which was transporting 30 passengers at the time, recorded no additional injuries from the incident.
