Diphu, Assam: On Wednesday, police authorities announced the seizure of illegal morphine valued at Rs 11 crore in Karbi Anglong district. The significant drug bust took place during a routine patrol along the Assam-Nagaland inter-state border on Tuesday night.

While patrolling in the 6 Mile area of Dilai, law enforcement officers intercepted a suspicious truck. Upon inspecting the vehicle, they discovered 10.71 kg of morphine cleverly concealed behind the driver's seat. Two individuals inside the truck, believed to be drug suppliers, were promptly arrested.

Authorities have initiated the necessary legal proceedings against the arrested suspects.
