According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra, a team conducting checks on the Mawana-Phalavada road attempted to stop the two suspects traveling on a motorcycle. In response, the suspects opened fire on the officers, prompting retaliatory action that left the suspects injured. Authorities identified the arrested individuals as Suhail, also known as Devil, and Ballu, alias Zia Mehndi, both carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 each. They were wanted in connection with the murder of a 37-year-old man named Sunil, which took place on July 15. Four suspects were identified based on the FIR, and a search is underway for the remaining two individuals who are still at large.
