In the latest development in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque case, a Mathura court has ordered a survey of the disputed site.

The survey report of the Shahi Idgah mosque has to be submitted by January 20, 2023.

While hearing the petition of Hindu Sena, the court of Civil Judge Senior Division (III) ordered 'Amin' to conduct a survey of the disputed site of the Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura.

The court has fixed January 20 for the next hearing.

On December 8, national president of Hindu Sena Vishnu Gupta and vice president Surjit Singh Yadav, residents of Delhi, had claimed in the court that the Idgah was constructed by then Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb by demolishing the temple on 13.37 acres of land of Lord Krishna's birthplace.
