Massive protests by farmer and trade unions have erupted outside Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann's house in Sangrur as he campaigns in Gujarat for the assembly polls on December 1.
Clashes have also broken out between the police and protesters, according to media reports.
The farmer and trade unions are demanding a hike in the minimum wage under MNREGA and 33% reservation for Dalits in village cooperative societies, increase in compensation for land acquisition, relief for farmers suffering due to cattle deaths from lumpy skin disease and compensation for crop damage.
