Massive avalanche hits Jammu and Kashmir, officials issue warning

A massive avalanche hit the Sarbal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday. According to local reports, the incident took place near the Zojila Tunnel workshop, prompting quick action from officials to evacuate employees. Though no loss of life or damage to property was reported, the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) has issued an avalanche warning in a few districts of the Union Territory.
