1. Fuel prices hiked for 2nd straight day

Fuel prices set to burn holes in your pocket. Retailers have raised prices for a second day on Wednesday. Petrol and Diesel prices were raised by 85 paise/litre on Wednesday following a 80 paise hike on Tuesday.

2. Centre asks for report on Bengal violence

The Centre has asked for a report on the alleged political violence in West Bengal's Birbhum district in which eight people died. A mob allegedly threw bombs on the outskirts of Rampurhat town on Tuesday.
