Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 11 (PTI): A social media video circulating from Vedkheri village in the Shamli district has attracted the attention of law enforcement. The video features a man dressed in saffron attire, allegedly a Muslim pretending to be a Hindu.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Santosh Kumar Singh, stated on Friday, "A video claiming that an individual named Shahzad was seen begging in saffron clothes and posing as Sonu Upadhyay has gone viral on social media." Officials from the Jhinjhana police station are investigating the incident and will take necessary actions based on their findings.

The incident will also be scrutinized to determine if any illegal activities were being conducted under the guise of begging, Singh added.
