Maharashtra sees 850 COVID-19 cases, four fatalities

Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 850 fresh coronavirus cases and four fatalities, the health department said.

With new additions, the state's COVID-19 tally rose to 81,61,349 and the death toll to 1,48,502, as per a health department bulletin.

The state had recorded 993 cases and five fatalities on Friday.

Of the four fresh COVID-19 fatalities in the state, two were recorded in Mumbai and the rest two in Kalyan-Dombivaliy city.

The current case fatality rate in Maharashtra is 1.81 per cent.

Mumbai logged 177 COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
