Maharashtra Deputy CM Fadnavis calls up Karnataka CM Bommai as border row escalates

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his displeasure over targeting of buses bearing the state's number plate in Karnataka in a call with Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. 

The vehicles were attacked near Karnataka's Belagavi by a Kannada group over the border dispute between the two states that flared up in the past few days

Chief Minister Bommai said that strict action will be taken against the culprits and assured vehicles coming from Maharashtra will be protected.
