A Lucknow family ordered Chilli Paneer from a local restaurant but was delivered Chilli Chicken, which the vegetarian family ended up eating. The wrong order sparked outrage, with the delivery executive and restaurant being booked by police.
Complainant Rakesh Kumar Shastri, who is associated with a local temple, said his family was feeling “uneasy” after eating Chilli Chicken.
“I placed an order of dry chilli paneer from a Chinese restaurant in the Alambagh area of Lucknow,” Shastri said, as per the FIR cited by News18.
“Instead of serving me chilli paneer, the restaurant and the delivery boy Imran served a non-vegetarian dish, which I and my family realised only after consuming it,” the FIR added.

Lucknow police officer Chhatrapal Kumar said that the matter is already under investigation while the restaurant and delivery executive had been booked, News18 reported.
