Around three months after the Indian High Commission was attacked in London by protestors carrying Khalistani flags, the alleged mastermind of the incident has died.

Avtar Singh Khanda, chief of the terrorist outfit Khalistan Liberation Force, died in Sandwell hospital in UK's Birmingham on June 15, 2023, as per reports.

While the cause has not been declared, he was reportedly suffering from blood cancer and was hospitalised around 2 weeks earlier.

Indian probe agency NIA called Khanda along with 3 others the principal accused in the March 19 London attack.
