The violence occurred in Uttarakhand's Roorkee on June 12, 2023, as local residents allegedly clashed with police personnel.
It was sparked by the death of a person in Belra village, with the locals alleging murder. While police told them that nothing suspicious was found in the probe, a mob allegedly pelted stones at the cops.
Around half a dozen cops were injured in the attack.
More than 24 persons were arrested, and prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC were imposed in the area.
