In a unfortunate case, a schoolgirl who was headed to her home riding a bicycle was crushed to death after miscreants pulled her dupatta, causing her to lose balance. She was then run over by another man on a motobike.
A video of the tragic incident which took place in Uttar Pradesh's Ambedkarnagar on Sept 15 soon surfaced on the social media. Following which the girl's family filed a complaint with police and three accused were arrested.
However, on Sept 16, two of the accused tried to escape from police custody and were eventually shot in the leg during an encounter.
