A man's attempt to leave his fiance at the altar turned into a dramatic chase. The incident took place in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, as per reports.
The groom developed cold feet and gave an excuse of fetching his mother to escape from the wedding venue. The bride didn't believe him and embarked on a 20-kilometre chase to find her fiance and bring him back for the wedding rituals.
He was finally found in a bus near a police station outside Bareilly city limits.
Videos viral on social media showed the two getting married at a temple, with the groom dressed in plain clothes.
