A tin roof of a shop collapsed after several people climbed on it to watch the air show in Bhopal on Saturday. Several people were left injured in the incident. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The air show was conducted by the Indian Air Force to mark its 91st anniversary.
The venue saw a huge crowd even before the event began. During the fly-past programme, IAF helicopters and fighter jets showcased a series of aerobatic performances.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who presided over the event, shared visuals on X with the IAF’s motto “Nabha Sparsham Deeptam” (Touch the sky with Glory).
