Speeding Jaguar car rams into crowd on Ahmedabad flyover; at least 9 dead

First, an SUV collided with a truck. Then, as people gathered around the accident site, a speeding luxury car drove into the crowd.

At least 9 people died and over a dozen were injured in the incident which took place at the ISKCON flyover in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.

The driver of the Jaguar car which ploughed into the crowd is hospitalised and is facing arrest by police.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel announced a compensation of ₹4 lakh for family of each deceased, and ₹50,000 for the injured.
