The father a minor girl who was allegedly gangraped and killed in Rajasthan's Bhilwara tried to end his life by jumping onto his daughter's burning pyre, India Today reported.
Some charred remains of the 14-year-old girl, who went missing on August 2 were recovered from a coal furnace on August 4 at Narsinghpura village in Bhilawara.
While other parts were found disposed near a pond in the area.
According to the news outlet, the father was rushed to the hospital after he got injured while trying to jump onto the burning pyre.
