In a distressing incident, a software professional in Pune allegedly killed his wife and 8-year-old son before committing suicide, as per police.
Their bodies were found in their flat in Aundh area of Pune on 15 March 2023. The woman and child had plastic bags wrapped around their faces, while the husband was found hanging from the ceiling.
When deceased Sudipto Ganguly and his family did not answer phone calls, his brother asked a friend to visit the house, which was locked. A missing persons complaint was filed, but location data of the couple's mobile phones showed that the devices were inside the flat.
Police then entered the house and discovered the bodies.
