In a startling incident, a Tamil Nadu teacher was chased and thrashed by parents of a 7-year-old student who was allegedly hit by the teacher.
The 3-minute video which has gone viral shows, parents barging into the classroom, chasing down and hitting the teacher identified as R Bharat, as per NDTV.
NDTV quoted the mother as saying, it is illegal to beat a child!
Citing officials, the report said the child hit herself while changing seats in the class, however, the kid complained to her parents about the teacher beating her up.
Following the brawl, the couple was arrested and a probe was launched, police said.
