On cam: Congress MLA slaps man outside bank branch, justifies act

In a startling incident caught on camera, a man claimed to be a Congress MLA allegedly beat up a man outside a bank branch in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The assault took place near a Central Bank branch in Balrampur on 3 April 2023, as per news agency ANI. Ramanujganj MLA Brihaspati Singh has been accused of repeatedly slapping a person over a dispute over withdrawal of money.

The MLA later justified his act by claiming that bank employees were siphoning off money from accounts of farmers and harassing them.
