Odisha train crash: 5 Railway staffers under probe scanner, says report

Over 10 days after the horrific triple train crash in Odisha, it has emerged that 5 employees of the Indian Railways are under the lens of investigators.

Assistant Station Master of Bahanaga Bazar railway station and 4 staffers working in the signalling department are being questioned, as per a Hindustan Times report.

They are under suspicion for possibly not conducting proper tests after a maintenance operation, the report said. This may have interfered with the signalling system on June 2, when disaster struck.
