In a startling incident, a passenger allegedly shot and killed himself onboard a Guwahati-to-Delhi train on 10 April 2023.
The man allegedly shot himself in the general compartment at around 8 pm when the train was near the New Jalpaiguri station in Bengal, officials said.
He was not carrying a ticket or any other documents, so efforts are underway to identify him. It is also being probed how he entered the train with a gun.
