Maharashtra weather | Schools in Mumbai, Konkan region shut due to incessant rainfall

Amid incessant rainfall, all schools in Mumbai and Konkan region will remain shut on July 20, as per the Maharashtra government order. 

The government has also advised children to avoid venturing out in the rain or click selfies near overflowing rivers or water bodies. 

The IMD issued an orange alert for July 20 for Thane, Palghar, Raigad and Ratnagiri and a yellow alert for Mumbai

Notably, commuters faced hardship on Wednesday on train services and road traffic was impacted due to heavy rainfall.
