Indian Army thwarts infiltration bid in Baramulla district, faces 'interference' from 'Pakistani post'

As the encounter in Kashmir's Anantnag district entered its fourth day where terrorists are entrenched in a hilltop cave, Indian army on Saturday morning foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district.

During the joint operation by Indian Army and J&K Police three militants were neutralised, Chinar Corps said in a post on X.

It further added that while the bodies of two terrorists were retrieved, firing from a Pakistani post in the vicinity is interfering with the retrieval of the third terrorist's body.
