IAF fighter jet crash: death toll rises in Rajasthan village where MiG-21 fell

Hours after an Indian Air Force fighter jet crashed in Rajasthan, the death toll due to the mishap rose on May 8, 2023.

Three civilian women died, while three other people were injured, as per reports.

A MiG-21 aircraft crashed in Hanumangarh, and the pilot survived with some injuries after ejecting safely.

The fighter jet had taken off from Suratgarh airbase. Police said that the pilot tried to prevent casualties by crash-landing the plane on the outskirts of the village.
