Heatwave warning for these 7 states by IMD

A heatwave alert has been issued for several Indian states as the summer tightens its grip across the country.

The Indian Meteorological Department reportedly issued an orange alert for dangerously high temperatures in 3 states - West Bengal, Bihar, and Andhra Pradesh.

The IMD warned that heatwave conditions are likely in some parts of 4 other states - Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
