In a bizarre case, a Gurugram man was allegedly robbed of his belongings by the woman he met online on a dating app, Indian Express reported.
According to the report by the news outlet, the accused woman met the victim, identified as Rohit Gupta at his residence in Gurugram. The complainant told the police that the woman called him on October 1 expressing a desire to meet him the same day as she was visiting her aunt's place in the city.
When they both met, the woman allegedly spiked the victim's drink and made off with his gold chain, an iPhone 14 pro-max, his credit/debit cards and cash worth Rs 10000.
A case under relevant sections has been lodged with city police now.
