Korean restaurants in Gurugram are facing heat from rightwing Hindutva groups who have accused the eateries of serving beef.

Outfits like Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have reportedly complained to Haryana police stating that cow slaughter and serving of beef is banned in the state.

They have threatened protests if action is not taken.

The controversy was reportedly sparked by a video of a food blogger apparently eating a dish called 'beef tongue' at a Gurugram mall.
