Goods trains collide in West Bengal's Bankura, eight bogies derailed; no one hurt

Two goods trains collided with each other near West Bengal's Bankura in the wee hours of Sunday, resulting in the derailment of several boogies.

The incident took place at Onda station, according to the news agency PTI.

According to a statement by railway officials, 'Both were empty goods trains and the reason of the accident and how both trains collided is still not clear'.

According to a statement by South Eastern Railway, 14 trains have been canceled, 3 diverted and 2 short routes trains have been terminated due to the derailment of goods train.
