In a grisly incident, five bodies, including a newborn baby, were found in a well in Rajasthan's Jaipur on May 28. The deceased belonged to the same family, and had left home after a domestic fight, as per police.
The victims included three women in their 20s, a 4-year-old child, and a 20-day-old baby. Police suspect that it was a case of suicide, as per news agency PTI. The women lived in Meeno ka Mohalla, and the bodies were found in a well in Dudu area.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Kumar Sharma said, "We got information that 3 daughters-in-law from the same family had left home with their children. The family had filed a missing persons' complaint. Police filed a case and searched for the women. It emerged that a quarrel had occurred between the husband and wife, and all three women... They were all real sisters. The middle sister Mamta, had a quarrel with her husband. In anger, all three women left the house. We searched for them. In this isolated place at some distance from the village, we found dead bodies of the three."
