Amid fears of a severely hot summer, the minimum temperature in the national capital on 17 April 2023 was recorded at 21.9 degrees Celsius.
This is normal for this time of the season, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature for the day is expected to settle around 39 degrees Celsius, the IMD predicted in the morning.
Poor air quality continued to plague the capital, with AQI being recorded at 198.
