The daughter of an active Maoist couple in Chhattisgarh has made it to the news headlines after clearing her Class 10 state board examinations.
She reportedly hails from Enmeta Bakulwahi village, and her father Sonwaram and mother Aarti are alleged Maoists.
The 18-year-old, who lives away from her parents, scored 54.5% marks in the High School Certificate Examination, the results of which were declared on May 10, 2023.
She now hopes to become a doctor and serve the tribals of her native district.
