Weeks after convicted killer Anand Mohan Singh walked out of jail after being granted remission by the Bihar government, the former MP spoke at an event in Araria on May 11, 2023.

He reportedly asserted that he was innocent in the murder of IAS officer G. Krishnaiah.

"This country is no one's property. I believe in law & Constitution and served a jail term of more than 15 years without any complaint," Singh said.

"I am ready to get hanged if the govt believes that I am guilty," he added.
