Following the deaths of 8 cheetahs at the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, experts removed the radio collars of 6 cheetahs for "health examination".

This came days after the Union government said that there was no scientific basis to link the cheetah deaths with the collars around their necks.

These 6 cats were found to be healthy, as per officials quoted by news agency PTI.

An Indian Express report said that two of the cheetahs had severe infection, but were healthy in general terms.
