The number of students who have scored 95 percent and above has also significantly dipped compared to 2021. In 2022, 33,432 candidates have scored above 95 percent, down from 70,004 in 2021.
In 2021, when the examinations had to be cancelled amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the board had tabulated results of Class 12 students through a complex formula that factored in students’ performance in school and also Class 10 board exams.
