Caught on cam: woman getting clicked at Mumbai's Bandra swept away during high tide

A video of a woman, who was swept away by a strong wave during high tide in Mumbai last month (June) has surfaced online now. 

The woman, identified as Jyoti Sonar was getting getting herself clicked with her husband when the tragic incident occurred. 

In the viral video, the woman is seen sitting with her husband as waves continue to lash them. They were being clicked by their children who were watching them from a distance. Moments later, a huge wave hit them, and the woman was swept away. The husband was rescued in nick of the time. 

The couple's children can be heard screaming as they watched their mother being carried away.

The woman's body was discovered on June 10 after a 20-hour long search operation, NDTV said.
