Days after an under-construction pillar collapsed and killed a woman and her son in Bengaluru, another woman and her daughter were killed after getting crushed under a concrete-mixing truck.

The incident occurred on 1 February 2023 at Bannerghatta Main Road. The victims were identified as Gayathri Kumar, an IT firm employee, and her daughter Samatha Kumar, a student at Sherwood School.

The truck toppled because the driver was driving rashly, police said. Cops are searching for the truck's driver and owner.
