Atiq Ahmed's killers moved to UP's Pratapgarh jail from Naini jail over security concerns

In the latest development in the Atiq Ahmed murder case, the three men accused of shooting the mafia-turned-politician have been shifted to another jail over security concerns, as per reports.

Sunny Singh, Arun Maurya, Lovelesh Towari lodged earlier in the Naini jail were moved to Pratapgarh jail in Uttar Pradesh. 

The three accused could have been attacked inside Naini jail, NDTV reported citing intelligence inputs.

Notably, all three were sent to 14-day judicial custody by the UP district court on Sunday.
