Assam floods: man set up 'moveable shop' using banana plant trunks to sell essentials | On camera

Amid floods in Assam, a man in Guwahati is being hailed on the social media platforms for selling essentials using a make-shift boat to reach out to the people in the inundated streets. 

A viral video show Dhaneshwar Das moving in the flooded streets in a make shift boat on which he set up a temporary shop. The raft has been made using banana plant trunks tied together and he has kept a small table on it to display.

Das is selling water, candles, matchboxes, and tamul paan in his shop. He placed an umbrella on the top of his movable shop and holds a big bamboo as an oar to make his way through the flooded streets of Guwahati.
