Another NEET aspirant ends life in Kota--21st this year: report

In yet another case, a student named Avishkar Shubhangi took his own life on August 27 in Kota, Rajasthan, according to NDTV.

His death marks the 21st suicide this year alone – the highest since 2018. 

Hailing from Maharashtra, Avishkar Shubhangi was residing with his grandparents in Kota. Avishkar allegedly leapt from the sixth floor of his coaching institute after completing an examination. Despite being rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

Avishkar was preparing for the NEET in Kota-- a renowned centre for aspiring engineers, doctors, and civil servants across the country.
