Yet another drone from Pakistan carrying drugs was shot down in Punjab on the intervening night of 2 and 3 February 2023.
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot down the drone clandestinely entering India across the International Border. The unmanned aerial vehicle was downed in the Amritsar sector around 2:30 am.
The drone was recovered hours later between the border fence and the zero line. It was carrying a 3-kg packet of suspected heroin.
