Amritpal Singh's uncle, driver surrender before police amid search for Khalistan preacher

Amid a hectic search for pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh, his uncle and driver surrendered themselves before police in Jalandhar on 19 March 2023, as per reports.

Amritpal's uncle Harijit Singh was reportedly driving a Mercedes car when Punjab police were chasing the chief of the Waris Punjab De outfit. Harijit said that he and Amritpal separated during the 15-16 km car chase.

The search for Amritpal entered the third day on 20 March, even as more than 110 of his supporters have been arrested so far, as per reports.
