Pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh has refused to reveal the source of his funding, as per reports.
Amritpal, who is jailed in Assam's Dibrugarh, told Punjab police that if he is released, he will "not cross the line of criminality", as per a News18 report.
The Khalistan proponent also claimed that he can help fight the illegal drug menace in Punjab.
However, Punjab police are wary, with sources stating that if Amritpal starts a peaceful movement and gathers support, it could turn into a dangerous situation.
