Alleged pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh is sitting on a hunger strike at a jail in Assam along with his associates, as per reports.
The chief of the Waris Punjab De group is protesting against alleged denial of access to a telephone, and poor food quality, according to Hindustan Times.
The claims were made by Amritpal's wife Kirandeep after she visited him at the Dibrugarh jail on June 29.
